Top // Jeans // Shoes // Bag // Lipstick

Another day, another Zara sale find. I really have got to stop going there but I just can't help it! haha. It's been a few weeks since the sale has started and each week, they lower the prices more and more so I always check back. My latest find is this gorgeous satin one shoulder top (I have wayyyy too many one shoulder tops in my closet but I'm obsessed!) which is so unique with the long bow (I actually cut it out since it was too long) and side cut-out. When I bought it, I actually didn't see the cut-out and wore it out to dinner one hot summer night and was wondering why I felt so naked until I looked down haha. The cut out isn't so bad that it looks inappropriate but I still recommend trying it on before purchasing.

In other news, my job randomly decided to give people a week off of work next week (perks of working at a start up #winning) so I decided to take advantage and make some spontaneous plans to...VEGAS! I've already been there 4 times in my life yet funny enough, this is the first time I'm going as a legal adult haha! It's one of my favorite cities and there's always something new to do and even if you're not a clubbing or drinking type, you can still have so much fun there (I would know since I've always gone there underage and had a blast lol).

Naturally as a fashion blogger I'm excited to take some amazing shots out there. The last time I visited was when I was in high school and I wasn't a blogger back then (and Instagram didn't even exist lol) so I'm looking forward to creating content and experiencing it a different way. Lately, I've noticed some bloggers say that going on vacation is stressful as a blogger cause you can't relax and have a lot of pressure to create content. I've even noticed some bloggers take 2 vacations - one for blogging and one that's an actual vacation and they don't create content around it or anything lol. Is it just me or is that a bit ridiculous and excessive? I mean if you have the money, go for it but I think it's all about balance and I want people to experience and see everything the way I'm seeing it when I'm on vacation so I don't mind the content creation part of it. It actually makes the whole trip a lot more fun!

What are your thoughts on this? Let me know below!

  1. Omg Vegas is my FAVORITE CITY!! I've been twice and loved it more the second time. I am really hoping to go back in 2019 or 2020!!!

  2. Spontaneous Vegas is the best! Have a great time!

  3. I LOVE this shirt!!! So cute! Can't wait to see your Vegas pics - have fun!!!

  4. I think whether it's stressful just depends on what your responsibilities are - when my whole trip is hosted, it can be super exhausting because I want to capture absolutely EVERYTHING and make sure I create a lot of value for the destination. If I'm just shooting content on my own trip, it's much more relaxed and enjoyable. So it kind of just depends. Have so much fun in Vegas!!!

  5. Have fun in Vegas! As a creator, I want to go on vacation simply to get away. I don't know how fashion bloggers do it but I'm sure it's an insane amount of work and stress!

  6. have so much fun in vegas!! It's going to be a total blast!! i haven't been in years but loved it!

  7. I love how a classic print like paisley is used in such a modern silhouette! I love it! I'm actually heading to Vegas later this week! I've never been so it should be interesting!
