The Embellished Jacket

Jacket: BlankNYC // Jeans: J. Crew // Boots: Ann Taylor // Sunglasses: Chanel "Pilot Signature" // Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Lips: Chanel "Libre"

Is it just me or is 2018 just flying by? I can't believe we're already near the end of January! One my resolutions for the New Year was to take more risks both in my personal life and with my style. Right when I saw this jacket at Nordstrom a few weeks ago, I fell in love with it but remember thinking to myself "it's cute but I can't pull it off" and walked away. Yet a few minutes later I couldn't help but go back to it and decided to just buy it and take the risk. I'm glad I did since it's one of the most unique pieces in my closet and works perfectly with jeans and a t-shirt but also dressed up with a little black skirt and some heels. I do recommend sizing up since it does run small and the material has no stretch to it. I also included some other fancy jackets from the BlankNYC line (one of my favorite lines cause they have the most beautiful jackets!) which you can shop below.

By the way these photos were shot by my first Dallas friend and fellow fashion blogger, Grace Beraki. If you have the time, make sure to go check out her blog cause that girl has amazing style and I'm always envious of her hair! (seriously go look haha). I have to say it's so nice finally making friends in Dallas especially one that's a blogger. I was thinking about writing a post all about how to make friends when you move to a new city since I know the whole process can be difficult. What do you gals think?

Have a nice weekend!
