Holiday Glamour With Tobi

Dress: c/o Tobi // Necklace: J. Crew // Shoes: Sam Edelman // Lips: Mac "Russian Red" // Clutch: TJ Maxx

For my second look with Tobi, I wanted to go with something a little more glamorous and right when I saw this "Neverland" dress I knew I had to have it. One of my favorite colors is teal and sadly I don't own too many teal pieces in my closet cause I can never find anything in that color! Strange right? Plus the high-low hemline makes this dress look so unique. It's perfect for fancy holiday parties or even a winter wedding! I paired it with my favorite statement necklace for some sparkle, some leopard heels, and a red lip. The best part is that it's on FINAL sale for $38 so make sure to get it before it's sold out for good. They also have it in a navy blue which is just as pretty! Oh and did I mention they always have free shipping? Yup, the deal couldn't be more perfect.

Happy shopping!

Winter White

Top: Ralph Lauren // Skirt: c/o Romwe // Clutch: TJ Maxx

The Monday after break is always the hardest isn't it? I'm totally not ready for two more weeks of school and finals but what can ya do. In the meantime, I'm working on more collaborations and this time it's with Romwe! They sent this white lace up skirt which is perfect to wear all year long but especially during the winter. I'm not one of those people that believes that you can't wear white after labor day. It's such an old fashioned rule and white looks even better during the winter cause it's so unexpected.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get a lot of good shots of the outfit because the weather has been awful lately and I just wasn't feeling how my face looks haha. It's just one of those days! I decided to pair it with black tights and a black turtleneck so the focus of the outfit would be on the skirt. I love the lace up detail and it would look perfect for a classy dinner or other special occasion. The one bad thing I have to say about the skirt is that it's not fully lined in the back and runs small so make sure to size up. While I love Romwe's large variety of clothes and affordable prices, I was a bit disappointed with the skirt's quality but if you wear a slip underneath it'll look much better.

Black Friday 2016 Favorites

I absolutely hate crowds and long lines and it's been years since I've gone out for Black Friday cause online shopping is just so much better! Luckily, this year it seems that every online shop out there is starting their sales early instead of waiting until Cyber Monday. I decided to link some of my favorites from various shops and hopefully you'll be able to grab them before they sell out! Here's what I'm loving:

Shopbop - For this week only, Shopbop is doing 15% off orders of $200+, 20% off orders of $500+, and 25% off for orders of $800+. I'm obsessed with the unique sweaters they carry such as this Autumn Cashmere Sweater with the bow tie in the back!

Kate Spade - Get 30% off your purchase with the code "THANKFUL" and grab yourself a new purse such as the Orchard Street Arla in a gorgeous perwinkle.

Baublebar - Get 30% off with the code "THANKS30" and stock up on some sparkly pieces that are perfect for New Year's such as the beautiful Amaryllis Soft Floral Drop earrings that will look perfect with a LBD.

J. Crew - Get 40% off with the code "HOLIDAY" and save on these pink Lena Leather Pumps with the patent black cap toes! So adorable and perfect to wear for internships or presentations.

Kendra Scott - Get 20% off with the code "SALE20" and save on these Caroline Earrings and others.

Club Monaco - Black Friday is one of the rare times of year where I can actually afford to buy something from Club Monaco haha. They are doing 25% off when you purchase $150+ with the code "THANKS". How cute is their Violet Feather Vest?!

What are you stocking up on during Black Friday? Comment below!

Casual Thanksgiving With Tobi

Jacket: Zara // Dress: c/o Tobi // Boots: Kenneth Cole Reaction // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban // Hat: TJ Maxx // Bag: Rebecca Minkoff // Lips: Bobbi Brown Art Stick in "Rich Nude"

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! There's so much to be thankful for this year such as my family, friends, my readers, getting coverage in the local media, and of course some incredible collaborations. For today's post, I was able to partner with Tobi, which is an online shop that I'm quite familiar with since they carry so many trendy and stylish pieces that's perfect for us fashionistas.

They were kind enough to send me three dresses (so hard to choose just three!) and I decided to wear this one for Thanksgiving today cause it's so cozy and pairs well with my go-to leather jacket. I'm usually hesitant when I order sweaters since I have sensitive skin and some materials that sweaters are made out of bother me, but this one was so soft! The dress is actually sleeveless so for you gals that live in warm climates, it's perfect to skip the tights and just pair with some ankle or OTK boots. For size reference, I sized up and went with a large since judging from the picture online, the dress runs small and I wanted it to be fit a little more loose and not ride up as I walked like most tight dresses do.

The best part is they're running a Black Friday sale and everything is 50% off and 60% off items that are black! Make sure to take advantage and stock up on some essentials for your winter wardrobe!

What are you wearing for Thanksgiving? Do you prefer something more casual or fancy? Let me know!

POPSUGAR November Must Have Box

(Sponsored by POPSUGAR. Received Must Have Box complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are my own.)

Right when the UPS guy dropped off this Must Have Box in front of my doorstep, I had a feeling this would be a good one. I have this strange belief that heavier boxes always have better stuff in it! haha and I was right! The theme of the November Must Have Box was obviously Thanksgiving, but not in that tacky sort of way but instead I saw it as being elegant and perfect for anyone who loves to throw a good holiday party. Here's what I got:

Meri Meri Star Party Picks

I had the sudden urge to bake something just so I can use these star party picks from Meri Meri! They come in gold and silver glitter stars and comes in two sizes. Perfect to put on top of cupcakes or other desserts for your next holiday party!

AJ Goods Handmade Decorative Wire Bowl

This was the reason why the box was so heavy! They included this cute wire bowl that's handmade and you can easily put candy or fruit in it. I wish the color wasn't grey cause that doesn't seem very festive to me. Maybe white? Oh well, what can ya do.

Kendra Scott Elaina Rose Gold Bracelet in White Pearl

If I can only choose one thing that I loved from the past couple of months of POPSUGAR boxes, IT WOULD BE THIS. I never would've expected them to put a Kendra Scott bracelet in here but yup it happened! I've always wanted to own a Kendra Scott piece but could never make up my mind on what to get so this was perfect for me. Plus I'm a big fan of rose gold and white just goes with everything so I think they did a great job with this. You can either wear it alone or layer it with some other bracelets but either way, it's gorgeous! They also included a 20% off coupon for your next purchase #winning

Stowaway Cosmetics Dawn to Dusk Palette

I've never heard of Stowaway cosmetics but that's what I love about subscription boxes, you always find out about new brands! The line is all about creating makeup in small sizes so you can take them with you anywhere. I love how this palette has a nice range of neutrals but it's also shimmery so it's nice for the holidays! Despite being powder shadows, they were super pigmented, creamy, and went on nicely. There was a bit of fading so make sure to use primer before applying! They also included a 25% off your purchase of $50 or more coupon.

Pehr Chambray Runner

Can this be anymore perfect?! My favorite color is maroon so I love that they included this maroon and white runner in a soft chambray material that's going to look amazing on my table. I think I might just use this for Friendsgiving that I'm throwing the day after Thanksgiving which would like nice for a casual, daytime event. They also included a 25% off your entire order coupon.

Oogie's Gourmet Toffee Butter Popcorn (not pictured)

I love snacks as much as the next person, but I just didn't like these and maybe that's because I'm not a fan of toffee butter or even have a sweet tooth all that much. Although I have a feeling next month, POPSUGAR will probably include something with peppermint in it which I'm looking forward to!

Overall, I'm quite pleased with this Must Have Box and can't wait to see what the December one is going to be like! I'm thinking tons of sparkle and red! Or maybe an ornament? Half the fun of subscription boxes is trying to guess what's going to be inside the next one! Make sure to use the code "SHOP5" to get $5 off your first Must Have Box.

Holidays 2016 Gift Guide: Under $25

Is it just me or did the year just fly by and now we're already thinking about Christmas gifts?! Crazy. I already did most of my Christmas shopping these past couple of weeks in order to beat the crowds but that doesn't mean I can't make recommendations on what to buy! I saw so many cute things in stores and can't wait to share them with you all through my gift guides these next couple weeks. I decided to start with my under $25 gift guide since a lot of us college gals are ballin' on a budget and try to not go overboard around Christmas (even though it always happens!). A lot of these gifts could be great for stocking stuffers as well! Here's what I'm loving:

Chokers | There was so many 90's trends going on this year and the choker trend still seems to be remaining strong. I know a lot of my friends are obsessed with chokers so I thought this would be a great gift especially the sparkly ones that they can totally rock on New Year's Eve.

Nail Polish Sets | There's no such thing as too much nail polish and these Deborah Lippmann ones which come in the perfect winter shades are a total steal at $25!

Phone Case | I'm the type of person that gets tired of using the same phone case all the time and it's nice to have variety so I think a phone case would be a great gift especially if you don't know the person too well. Everyone needs a phone case am I right?

Makeup | For all the beauty lovers, makeup is always a good idea and things like highlighter, bronzer, and mascara are things that anyone could use. I recommend staying away from lipstick since not all shades are flattering on everyone.

Bath | Bath sets are another great gift if you don't know the person too well but still want to get them something nice. I personally love the Philosophy line cause their bath products smell delicious (hello peppermint!) and come in huge sizes for an affordable price.

I linked all my favorites below. Happy shopping!

Influenster x Lancome Voxbox

(Sponsored by Influenster and Lancome. Received these products complimentary for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.)

Eye makeup has always been my thing so I was excited when I got the email that I was qualified for the Lancome voxbox from Influenster. I'm the type of person that can't leave the house without some mascara and eyeliner on so this was perfect! If you're interested in receiving free makeup or other products from Influenster, make sure to sign up and connect your Facebook account to get started!

There was tons of products in this voxbox which includes the Defincils Mascara in Black, not one but two Drama Liqui-Pencils in the shades Black and Ampoule, Bi-Facil Double Action Makeup Remover (which I already have but it's always nice to have more!), Visionnaire Yeux Multi-Correcting Eye Balm (similar to a primer), and a eye pencil sharpener.

First up is the Defincils Mascara which I remember my Mom using when I was growing up and would play with her makeup all the time haha #thegoodolddays. The brush is quite narrow and thin compared to other mascaras that I use and while it does lengthen my lashes significantly, I prefer mascara that gives me big, volumnious lashes and this just didn't do it for me. Although I will say having a narrow brush makes it easy to coat every single lash, even the tiny ones on the corners of your eyes!

As for the Drama-Liqui eye pencils, I had a much better experience and loved how they went on so smoothly! Seriously, you don't have to put any pressure on them because they just glide on and actually stay on your lids for a long time. I adored the Ampoule shade which is a metallic purple (the shimmer is very subtle but gorgeous!) and looks gorgeous on brown or green eyes. So glad they included these in the voxbox!

Next is the Visionnaire Yeux Multi-Correcting Eye Balm which I thought was pretty pointless since it's a mini-sample size and didn't do much for my eyes. It's an eye balm which claims to act as a primer and helps to minimize imperfections on your eye lids. Eh. It didn't make a big difference when it comes to how long my eye makeup lasted and I could go without it but then again I have dry skin so this might work better for someone with oily lids.

Lastly, the Bi-Facil Double Action Makeup Remover which as I mentioned earlier, I already own and it's my go-to when I need to remove heavy eye-makeup. How heavy you ask? When I'm wearing layers and layers of eyeshadow, liquid eyeliner, and tons of mascara for a night out and want something that's going to get rid of every trace of it before I go to bed. Whenever I use this stuff, I never wake up in the morning with traces of makeup around my eyes. It's THAT good.

What do you think about Lancome? Any products that you would recommend? Let me know in the comments below!

Cozy Blanket Shawl

Shawl: c/o MinxNY // Jeans: Joe's // Sunglasses: Chanel "Pilot Signature" in Light Gold and Brown // Shoes: Kenneth Cole Reaction // Lips: Mac "Twig"

I've been on the hunt for a perfect shawl to wear on lazy fall days for a while now but just couldn't find a good one anywhere. The problem was they either seemed too long (it's hard being a short girl!) or too thick and looks like I'm carrying a blanket everywhere I go. But then MinxNY contacted me and asked if I could review one of their items and I was so happy when I saw that they had this amazing plaid blanket shawl at their shop! The material is so warm yet thin enough that it doesn't make you look ridiculous but instead perfectly chic and effortless. Plus it comes in handy on a Monday when you don't know what to wear and don't have too much time to think since all that's on your mind is having enough time to get coffee at the Starbucks drive-thru haha.

In case you're wondering what else MinxNY has, they're actually an accessories shop and have tons of cozy things like gloves, scarves, and hats in stock in stylish patterns which would make great Christmas gifts! They were kind enough to give my readers 10% off by using the code "RUYA10".

Thanks for reading and hope you have a pain-free Monday!

Crochet & Pink

Top: c/o SheIn // Jeans: Paige // Shoes: Kenneth Cole Reaction // Clutch: Chanel, vintage // Lips: Mac "Twig"

Last month, I posted a preview of this top on Instagram and you gals went crazy over it! It's actually one of my favorite tops and I've been getting so many compliments on it both in real life and online. I recently was able to collaborate with SheIn and they were kind enough to send it and I'm surprised that the quality is better than I expected! I always assume that affordable stores like SheIn would have poor quality clothes but in this case it worked out perfectly and I highly recommend the top. I usually wear a small in tops but I had a feeling their clothes run small and crotchet doesn't stretch so make sure to size up.

As for the jeans, yes I'm wearing again in an outfit post but don't worry these photos were shot weeks apart haha. But I'm obsessed with these black jeans cause they're so soft and comfortable especially for skinny jeans! They're quite an investment but totally worth it.

Well, that's all I have to say for now. Not much going on in my day to day life other than that ridiculous election that I'm sure everyone's recovering from. I actually didn't go on social media all day yesterday cause I didn't want to read anything about it anymore. All I'm going to say is that there's always hope!

Grey Wool Blazer

Blazer: J. Crew // Jeans: Paige // Shoes: Michael Kors // Bag: c/o Gucci via Bagdujour // Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

Sadly, I only had time to shoot one look while I was in NYC a couple weekends ago and this was it. This was the outfit that I wore to the Made by Google event that I attended in Soho and wanted to look somewhat professional while still stylish and comfortable. I'm currently working on a post on all the things that I learned while at Google which was highly requested both online and in real life so stay tuned!

I picked up this blazer right before the trip and it was a good idea since it kept me super warm since it's wool but the touches of pink made it girly and right up my alley. Plus look at the lining! So pretty. J. Crew blazers are always a great investment piece since you can wear them for presentations, internships, and work.

As for the bag, it was kindly gifted to me from Bagdujour and I've received countless compliments on the bag including from a sales associate at Louis Vuitton! haha. While it is heavy and a bit on the smaller side, it looks like a piece of art and a wonderful piece to borrow from Bagdujour so I highly recommend it.

Thanks for reading,

Blue Midi Dress

Dress: c/o Make Me Chic // Shoes: Kenneth Cole Reaction // Bag: Chanel(vintage) // Lips: Mac "Twig"

Being a college girl, there's very few occasions that I have to dress up in my day to day life. When the time does come where I have to look fancy, my college budget prevents me from indulging in dresses that I love. That's why I was so excited when Make Me Chic wanted to collaborate because they have so many designer dupes for affordable prices. This dress for example retails for $500+ normally while Make Me Chic sells it only for $45! I'm obsessed with anything that's girly and lace and this dress is right up my alley. Plus I don't own too many things that are blue in my closet so it was nice to switch it up and get something that's trendy while not breaking the bank. Also did I mention the back? So gorgeous and elegant! I can't wait to wear this for an engagement party in a couple of weeks.

Now I know what you're thinking, what's the quality like? It's obviously not going to be like the designer version but I was surprised that this dress turned out to be good quality and looks far more expensive than it is actually is. I would even go as far as saying that this would last me a long time and isn't something that's going to fall apart after wearing it once.

Let me know if you try out anything from them!
