Layered

Sweater: Macy's, check in stores (similar) // Lace Top: Kohl's, check in stores (similar) (similar) // Jeans: Joe's // Hat: Target // Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Flats: Zara, sold out (similar) (similar) // Lips: Mac "Rebel"

I'm glad January's over and I'm finally getting back into a routine again. I feel less stressed out compared to last semester since I'm only taking 4 classes and doing an internship compared to last semester where I was juggling 5 classes, an internship, work study job, and let's not forget a retail job. No wonder I was losing it all the time! I always have to remind myself that it's quality over quantity. If you're a workaholic like me, please remember that you can do anything in life but not everything. Plus I think yoga classes are helping haha. I'll be writing a post about that soon!

In the meantime, I've been switching it up by layering (since it's been so cold!) my sweaters with lace shirts such as this white one that I picked up at Kohl's. I personally hate wearing sweaters all the time cause it gets so boring so the lace keeps it interesting. I gave the outfit a bohemian edge with the wool hat and the background. In case you're a local reader and wondering where I took these photos, it's at one of the back streets at the Rochester Public Market! There's so much gorgeous artwork over there so I highly recommend it for photos.

Thanks for reading and happy Tuesday! aka Pretty Little Liars Day! Is it just me or is anyone else annoyed by the recycled plot? But I just can't stop watching it, ugh.

  2. I am crazy obsessed with those flats. I've been wanting a pair of lace up flats and in leopard they are just too cute and girly to resist! As for your life, you are totally getting it girl-but I agree with the sentiment "you can have ANYTHING but not EVERYTHING". You need to take some time to breathe and regain your sanity once in awhile!

  3. I love how you've paired the deep red sweater with a lighter denim. This time of year dark denim is most common (at least in Central Illinois) and I like how you've changed it up!
