Motivation Monday: Courage

A few weeks ago, I started following @thebriantracy on Instagram and I'm amazed by the amount of amazing quotes he posts on there. Some of them are his and some aren't and I'm not quite sure if this one is his but nonetheless it's quite powerful. I always associated being courageous with being brave and "in your face" but courage seems to come in many different forms. Sometimes, being courageous is a quiet state of mind that simply says "I will hang on". Hanging on, is always better than quitting and can make the difference between reaching your goal and failing at it. The people who persisted even though they received many criticism and setbacks were successful because they were able to hang on. They believed that they had something within them that was much powerful than whatever was in their way in the outside world.

Whatever you're going through right now, whether it involves work, school, or your personal life, remember to hang on. Things won't stay the same forever but unless you hang on, you'll never know what it turns out like at the end. Think of all the incredible people in the world who made the decision to hang on instead of quitting and look what they accomplished. Mind you, hanging on isn't the same thing as not doing anything. Courage involves action so continue doing what you think is best and if you think that what you're doing isn't the best, then I hope you have the courage to change and start over again.

With that in mind, I hope you all have a Happy Monday and a lovely week!

Until next time lovelies,
